Vous êtes un(e) grand(e) fan de la saga Harry Potter ? Vous adoriez écouter des histoires lorsque vous étiez enfant ? Ou bien, aimez-vous toujours écouter des livres ? Wizarding World a décidé de nous choyer en ce temps de crise.

Wizarding World propose “Harry Potter At Home”, une série de lecture du premier tome de Harry Potter, Harry Potter et l’école des sorciers. Sa particularité ? La plateforme propose depuis début mai, une lecture, deux fois par semaine, d’un chapitre du livre. Chaque chapitre est lu par des personnalités du monde du divertissement (dont la plupart actuellement sont des acteurs du monde de « Harry Potter » et des « Animaux fantastiques »), du sport et de la musique.

« Harry Potter At Home est notre manière d’apporter de la magie dans les maisons des gens en lançant un sort de bannissement de l’ennui. Ces vidéos spéciales de lecture sont l’une des choses que vous pouvez faire à la maison avec nous, que vous soyez seul, avec des amis ou en famille. »

J.K. Rowling a annoncé comme narrateurs : Daniel Radcliffe, Stephen Fry, David Beckam, Dakota Fanning, Claude Kim, Noma Dumezweni et Eddie Redmayne. A l’heure actuelle, vous pouvez déjà retrouver les huit premiers chapitres :

• Chapitre 1 : Daniel Radcliffe, l’interprète d’Harry Potter
• Chapitre 2 : Noma Dumezweni, l’interprète d’Hermione Granger dans la pièce de Théâtre « Harry Potter et l’Enfant maudit »
• Chapitre 3 : Eddie Redmayne, l’interprète de Norbert Dragonneau dans « les Animaux fantastiques »

Peut-être l’avez-vous déjà compris mais l’ensemble des vidéos sont en anglais et non en français. Cela peut être un frein pour le public francophone. Cependant, les différents lecteurs ont une bonne diction qui permet une compréhension facile. Si vous voulez parfaire votre anglais ou écouter la langue de Shakespeare, quoi de mieux qu’écouter « Harry Potter » ?

Ces lectures permettent de découvrir ou de redécouvrir le monde d’Harry Potter. De plus, après chaque session, Wizarding World vous propose des articles à lire et des quizz en rapport avec le chapitre lu. Ce format permet de toucher un large spectre d’âges, des enfants aux plus vieux. Il permet de s’écouter n’importe où, n’importe quand et avec n’importe qui. Pour finir, nous pouvons saluer le bon jeu d’acteur des différents lecteurs qui nous plongent instantanément dans le premier volume d’« Harry Potter ». Pour rappel ainsi que pour les novices, ce livre nous plonge dans l’histoire d’un jeune garçon de 11 ans élevé par son oncle et sa tante. Il apprend le jour de son anniversaire qu’il est un sorcier. Ainsi, il va partir à la découverte de Poudlard et du monde des sorciers sauf qu’une ombre apparaît dans ce lieu enchanté, Lord Voldemort qui cherche à le tuer.

Wizarding World has been offering « Harry Potter At Home », a series of readings from the first volume of « Harry Potter », Harry Potter and Philosopher’s stone. Its particularity?
